So today I also stopped in Aldo Accessories and pretty much bought my must have summer items!

Sunglasses: $12 CDN before tax (Also 2 for 20$)

Sunglasses are a must have to protect the eyes from the blinding sun and as well to avoid wrinkles from squinting. I never spend more then 20$ on one pair since they always break every year. I may be investing in a glasses case though.

I’ve only owned the big bug eyed plastic ones till now but this look really cute and will cater more to my style this summer.

Nautical Necklace: FREE $9 CDN (Buy 1 Get 1 Free)

I was looking for a nautical themed necklace. Ears aren’t pierced and anchors just get me like nothing else. This was on sale with the panther ring for buy 1 get 1 free.

Religious Bracelets: $12 CDN

Hate all you want but I’ve loved these bracelets since last year and I was so sad I didn’t pick some up. It was my first choice when I stepped in the store! It’s tacky but I love it. The large bracelet is Christian while the smaller bracelet is Hindu.

I love stuff with religious connotations especially crosses (which are no where to be found this year! :( ).

Satchel: $35 CDN

I love this! I have to say I was sold by the beautiful scarf. They had a larger version for 50$ but I have tons of bags. This will be great for taking to music festivals and clubs. It’s perfect because you can play it up as dressy with a scarf and then play it down just on it’s on. Versatility is key.

Urban Decay - Naked Pallette

So after school today I decided to stop in my local Sephora and spend my 30$ giftcard I got for Christmas which I forgot to use for my Clearasonic Mia.

I got it from Sephora for $67.80 CDN *Including Tax
$60.00 CDN no tax.

After hearing every blogger rave about this pallette I realized I everyone does need a basic muted pallette and I just didn’t have one yet.

The colours aren’t exactly what was on the box but they are still nice. The darker ones I thought would be way darker.

I really like that the colours are so blendable. Just smudge everything together! They are all really nice colours too!

And the pallette also came with a mini version of their eye primer which is to die for. I’ve been a fan for years. As well as an eyeshadow brush which is actually very nice. picks up the product well and has a nice weight to it.

Can’t wait to use this more! :D

Getting your Drink On

Some things I should really be doing are drinking more water and taking multi-vitamins. The multi-vitamins are a little expensive so I’ll start with the water!

Although we do receive a lot of liquids from the things we eat making it harder to become dehydrated, it’s also important to drink pure water. No calories and great for cleansing your body.

It’s hard to sit down and drink water, that’s why it’s important to find a cute water bottle to carry around in your purse or backpack. Buying plastic bottles is expensive and a crime to the environment (apparently).

Make sure it’s BPA free to avoid any chemicals. I’ve heard recently that Nalgene bottles which are famous for being rugged actually release some intense stuff when too hot or too cold, so avoid that.

My FAVOURITE type of water bottle started from Vapur:

They cost around $10 each and can go into the dishwasher. What’s so great is that these bottles fold up when empty so you aren’t carrying around a big water bottle even when it’s finished. It’s also super light weight again making it easy to carry around.

-Although this one specifically is $30 I’ve seen the exact one for $15 so you just have to look! They also are great because if you freeze some water at the bottom and then pour water in it will stay colder longer then in plastic!

And then there’s always the regular plastic like he one I’m holding in the first picture. The plastic ones are very rugged, won’t dent, and are perfect for camping or hiking. You can get them in a million colours and designs with a wide cost range starting from $5.

So I finally bought the Clarisonic Mia today. I was waiting and waiting but then I saw one of my favourite blogs give it a great review and I justhad to buy it. It’s charging as it has to charge 24 hours before you use it the first time and just waiting iskilling me. I’ll review this in March once I’ve gotten a good feel for it.

My Skin type: Combination with oily t-zone and normal cheeks.
